Terms

Terms & conditions.

Effective May 4, 2026

Acceptance

By using deenod.cc, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, don’t use the site. We may update these terms over time; the effective date above always reflects the current version.

What we offer

deenod.cc is the public site of DeenOD Studio. It includes information about the studio, its games, a fortnightly devlog, an email waitlist, a contact form, and (when live) a patron subscription run through Stripe. The site is provided as-is. Game purchases, when available, will live at separate storefronts (Steam, Apple Arcade, console marketplaces) under those platforms’ terms.

Acceptable use

  • Don’t scrape, mine, or systematically harvest the site.
  • Don’t submit automated content through the contact form or waitlist.
  • Don’t attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or exploit the site or its APIs.
  • Don’t impersonate the studio or its team, or send messages that defame, harass, or threaten any individual or group.

Intellectual property

All studio content on deenod.cc — including the studio name, logo, mark, wordmark, written content, devlog posts, and game-related concepts — is © DeenOD Studio. You may quote short excerpts with attribution and a link back. Wholesale republication, image redistribution, or commercial use requires written permission. Email press@deenod.cc.

Source material from the Qur’an, sira, hadith, and classical Islamic scholarship is in the public domain or under the rights of its respective publishers; the studio’s framing, illustration, and game design around that material is the studio’s own.

User-submitted content

By submitting content via the waitlist or contact form (your email, your name, your message), you grant the studio a non-exclusive license to use it for the purposes described in our privacy policy: replying to you, sending studio updates, and operating the site. We don’t republish your messages.

Theological content

The studio’s narrative writing draws on classical Islamic sources (Ibn Hisham, Ibn Kathir, al-Tabari, Bukhari, Muslim, and others), framed as the studio’s creative interpretation and held to internal review by both software agents and human scholar advisors. The studio is not a religious authority. Any theological or historical claim on the site should be checked against primary sources for serious religious or scholarly use.

Disclaimers & liability

The site is provided as-is and as-available, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. To the maximum extent permitted by law, DeenOD Studio is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the site.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Toronto, Ontario.
